Great workout for all levels
I am a very active person and work very hard on my own to stay in shape. I signed up for bootcamp to add some variety to my workout routine. All in all it was a great experience! We did different activities each class so it never got boring. You can make the workouts more intense by how much work YOU put into it. I found that the harder I worked out, the better I felt after the workout. Also, Josh was very accommodating to my back issues. Working out safely is important and Josh made sure to modify certain exercises as needed. I even think my back strengthened a little bit which no other workout has done. It was definitely worth it!

I loved it!!
I was so nervous when I signed up for the bootcamp, but once I arrived and we started hard and heavy right off the bat, there was no more time to be nervous. At times I didn't think I would make it, but Josh kept pushing me without yelling or making me feel like a loser. The other ladies in the group were very encouraging and helpful with exercises that were more difficult. I walked in to bootcamp having not worked out in years, I didn't realize how weak I was. Now I can feel a major difference in my strength and cardio (which is so very hard for me). I can walk or run up and down stairs holding my 40lb 2 year old without running out of energy and breath. Even though I injured my ankle (at home) on the last week of camp, I can say I benefitted from this camp in ways I never thought possible. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Josh!----Beth

This bootcamp was by far the best thing I have ever done. Coming from a background of no fitness knowledge whatsoever, I learned so much. I started at 211 and am now 204. It's not a huge weight drop but I can tell in my clothes that I lost in inches. I feel more toned. I went from only being able to do 4 sit ups to 25 with no problem. I loved the energy I have. Becoming conscience of different exercises and Josh's awesome instruction has taught me so much. I would reccommend this program to anyone. And yes it's worth it
Exactly what I needed
I just finished my first camp. It was a great mix of younger and older women of all different fitness levels. My fitness level was fairly low, but I never felt left behind and I got a very strenuous workout. Josh is very encouraging. I'll be doing this again, because the results really show.

Amazing
I guess that would be the one word to truly sum up Adventure Boot Camp. I've struggled for so long to find a good workout program to stick with and needless to say, I just completed my 5th Bootcamp and have already signed up for my 6th. At this point, I don't see that number ending. The workouts are tough but the feeling of accomplishment and reduction in stress once you leave there are priceless. Not to mention the lbs, inches and body fat that I have lost, it's a complete transformation inside and out. Josh does a great job encouraging and pushing everyone but also understanding our limits and helping us push through the tough times. I've made some great friends and can't wait to start my 6th camp in 10 days!

Totally Worth IT!
If you want a change in your workout and your body, this is the camp for you. If you're afraid of being yelled at, this is the camp for you. Adventure Boot Camp is encouraging and you will see results! If you think you can't do it, you can. And you will be happy that you did!
Great workout, great results, great...
I just signed up for my second bootcamp. I started at 3 day a week last time and liked it so much, I added days. For someone who considers 5:45 AM still night...I didn't miss a one. I have for the first time ever, a waist under 30 inches! This is not like the gym where everyone is wearing really cute workout clothes, is a size six and look like they just stepped out of a salon. This is a group of real people of every fitness level, every size who feel like they are accomplishing something together. I had more energy, a better attitude and a better body to boot. Thanks Josh.

I had been frustrated trying to get back into shape after exercising sporadically the past few years while I worked full-time and completed graduate school. Adventure Bootcamp was exactly what I needed to get back into a routine and begin to feel in shape again! After only a week, I started feeling more toned and could even tell a difference in the way my clothes fit. Josh does a great job motivating participants to work hard and is very encouraging. He also is excellent at tailoring activities to different ability levels of participants. I am definitely not a morning person but was excited about each day, enjoyed the variety of activities we did, and actually felt more energized throughout the day. I look forward to participating in another one of Josh’s boot camps in the future and highly suggest this investment that will increase your overall well-being!

I am 59 years old and have worked in middle management for 35 years. I feel much better and more alert when I work out but only do so in spurts, claiming a busy schedule as the usual excuse.
There were several initial reasons that I looked at this boot camp: the fact that it is for women only, convenient to my home, and at an hour of the day when I could find no excuse not to participate (6:00 a.m!). I need a structured exercise program to maintain the discipline to work out, and I like the challenge and the accountability of working with a group. The initial 4-week boot camp was appealing as a way to jump-start my fitness routine, especially in the winter when it is the most difficult time of year for me to get motivated to exercise.
One of my favorite things about the boot camp is that a woman of any age and fitness level can participate and feel accomplishment and results. I am the oldest in this group by a number of years and can't always keep up the pace, but I have never felt that I am holding back the group and always feel like I have worked hard and gotten a good workout. When I am just at the point of thinking I can't make it another step, the routine changes to something new or different and we get our second wind and work some more! Josh Allen, our boot camp instructor, uses a wide variety of things to keep us moving and challenged and interested; so though it can be difficult, it is never boring and we know we can make it through the hour and will feel great about what we accomplished.
I love the stretches, the floor exercises, weight training, and the drills; my least favorite things are the laps and the sprints! But they always lead into something that is more fun and enjoyable, so it's always tolerable :-)
By the way, Josh Allen isn't a boot camp "drill sergeant" in the usual sense of the word. He is actually a great encourager and motivator. He always pushes us to work hard but keeps the hour filled with enough variety that we know we can make it through and that it will indeed make a difference in our fitness level.
One more thing: everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and sometimes even an injury, and Josh is very cognizant of that and will easily modify a routine for one who needs something slightly different, so they will get a safe but complete workout.
Because of all of the above, I would recommend this program to any woman who enjoys working out in the morning and who wants an intense and satisfying exercise program.
